I went in today for my 16 week appointment and everything looked great! They didn't do a whole lot, except check my weight (I always strip as much as decently possible), check my blood pressure, and listen to BO's heart beat. There's nothing better than that sound...it's so sweet and reassuring. (152 BPM, btw)
I talked to the doc, Dr. Al, a new and impressive one again this week, about the flu vaccine and he said it's a must, so I went ahead and got one. My arm is pretty sore, but I think I'll survive ;) Also, they took some blood for some routine 16 week tests. I have decided not to do any of the elective tests, I'll take BO as he/she comes.
Speaking of, on October 20th at 9am Steve and I will go in for the anatomy ultrasound! I can't wait!!!!! I'm ready to go shopping and start planning the nursery decor. I pray that BO will be cooperative that morning and spread 'em so we can check out the goods!!! lol!
